Introducing Our Leadership Team
At the helm of our revamped Asset and Repairs Team is our new Director, Chris George.
Chris recently joined BCHA bringing with him over 30 years’ experience of working in social housing and social care with both local authorities and housing associations in repairs, maintenance, asset management and compliance.
Chris’s passion for keeping customers at the heart of his work by involving them in service delivery is the perfect fit for BCHA and we are thrilled to have his vision and expertise on the Executive team. He will be driving forward our improved offer to customers living in BCHA properties, leading both the in-house repairs team, BCHA Home and the assets and compliance teams, and embedding a really customer focused ethos across all areas.
Deputising Chris, leading our Assets Team is our new Asset Manager Richard Fudge.
Richard brings decades of experience to his role, most recently at New Forest Council. His sensible and caring approach resonates through the team, fostering an environment that nurtures both personal and professional growth.
He is committed to using data to provide the most effective service to our customers, and his rigour has already helped us to improve our maintenance plans for the coming year and beyond. He’s leading the gathering of new stock condition data and working to develop new 30 year investment programmes.
Alongside this, Richard is leading on our options appraisal process, reviewing our homes to ensure they are suitable and sustainable for the future.
